Our Approach
An education built on books, not screens
Discovery Preparatory Academy is a private school serving students from PK3 through Grade 12. Our classrooms are deliberately simple: printed textbooks, written work, and teachers who know every student by name.
We believe the foundations — reading, writing, arithmetic, and the habit of sustained attention — are what make everything after them possible. From there, our upper school opens into trade and certification pathways, so students graduate with both an academic footing and a practical skill.

Grades K – 8
Lower & Middle School
The core years. Reading, writing, mathematics, history, and science taught directly from books, and mastered before moving on.
Grades 9 – 12
Upper School & Trades
College-preparatory coursework alongside trade and certification pathways, so every graduate leaves with a next step.
